Walenstein Symphony Orchestra A Romantic Evening with Tchaikovsky
This concert is themed on the Great Russian composer, Pyotr Il'yich
Tchaikovsky. The repertoire for this event will include some of his greatest
works, such as Capriccio Italien, Variations on a Rococo Theme for solo
cello and orchestra; featuring the talented 14-year-old cellist, Anna

Harry the dirty dog - Family Fun Series
Harry has everything a little white dog with black spots could want. There's just
one problem: he hates taking baths. He hates them so much, in fact, that one morning
he runs away! After a wonderful day spent playing in the dirt, Harry gets so grubby that
he turns into a little black dog with white spots...and returns home to find that his
family doesn't recognize him! Art Power's new musical, based on the classic book by
Gene Zion with illustrations by Margaret Bloy Graham, captures both the whimsical
humor and touching dedication to family found in Harry's story.

With upbeat new music, dance and characters, this sequel entertains and educates kids on the value of friendship,
teamwork, exercise, creative thinking, caring for the environment, and more. In this production Zack discovers
his "Show and Tell" item is broken and he must rely on teamwork from his new classmates to fix it in time to earn
a passing grade. It's great fun for everyone and brings valuable lessons to life .

Selections from the Museum’s Contemporary Collection
Drawn mostly from the Museum’s Pop art collection and other works from the 1960s
and 1970s, this multimedia installation includes paintings by Larry Rivers, Tom Wesselmann,
and Frank Stella; prints by Robert Rauschenberg, Jim Dine, and Andy Warhol; and photogravures
by Robert Mapplethorpe. The Rauschenberg works on view celebrate his move in the early 1970s
to his Gulf Coast home in Captiva, Florida. They were printed in series at his own studio and
the newly founded Graphicstudio U.S.F. (University of South Florida) in Tampa.

Archaeological Excavation
of the Second Stranahan
Store
Organized in conjunction
with the Palm Beach Museum
of Natural History, this
installation features
artifacts uncovered in the
199601997 archeological
excavation of the site of
the second Stranahan
Trading Post. Build
in 1906 by Ed King, the
building burned in 1912
and was quickly replaced
by the Oliver Building.
Recovered artifacts,
historical photos and
related trading post
merchandise are included
in this installation.
